Surround Yourself with Wildflowers and the Sounds of Nature

Tiny living experience in the woods of Michigan’s Upper Peninsula.

The CAbin

This cozy cabin is similar to a studio apartment. The cabin would make an ideal base camp for those who want to do day trips and have a cozy, quiet, private, and out-of-the-way space to come back to at night. The property is situated on our 8 acres that you are encouraged to roam. There are many apple trees on site, as well as, wild blackberries and raspberries bushes, which we encourage you to forage once in season. There is a rock cleaning station for any rock hunting enthusiasts who want to look over their treasures. The cabin comes with its own private fire pit out front with your first bundle of wood free and access to more wood for a fee. You can pull your vehicle right up to the cabin for convenience.

Tiny but mighty

There is one large room that accommodates the bedroom, living room, kitchenette, and entrance. We have taken the space and worked hard to make every square inch functional for a comfortable stay.

sleeping Accommodations

The bedroom consists of a comfortable queen sized bed with nightstand (to lay that novel you don’t want to put down). The living room couch has a pull out bed if you need the extra accommodations. The space is ideal for two people, but four adults can fit. Bed sheets and extra pillows and blankets are provided. There is also a place to hang clothes and store your suitcases.

Functional kitchenette

The kitchenette has everything you need for your stay. Wake up in the morning, use the Keurig Coffee Maker, and enjoy a hot cup of coffee on the screened in porch. There is a hot water kettle as well if tea is more your style. A mini fridge and freezer is provided for your convenience. Enjoy a hot meal in your tiny home away from home using the provided hot plate, microwave, and outdoor grill. Pots, pans, dishes, glasses, silverware, toaster, and blender are also provided.

natural views

From the living room area you will have a view of the screened in porch, front lawn, and fire pit. The living room also has a 31” TV, perfect for movie nights. If you forgot to bring something to read, have no fear, the cabin has books for your enjoyment. Looking for something to do before bed? Pick from one of the cabin’s board games.

Nancy’s Tiny cabin was the perfect weekend getaway! The cabin was well stocked with everything you would need in the kitchen and bathroom. The space was thoughtfully laid out and utilized very well. The location is a good central spot to hit a few of the main attractions in the area, including Pictured Rocks and Tahquamenon falls both just an hour or so away. Nancy was really responsive and her guidebook was great!
